“Farmhouse provided everything we were looking for. Pluses include the decks outside, wonderful hosts (including the folks at the tasting room across the driveway), privacy and large accommodations. I’d give the property an excellent rating excepting that the property is a little dated and has non-traditional spaces. Perfect for a small wedding.... Very clean and well maintained. Ultra comfy king sized master bed, efficient air conditioner and cooling fans, copious amounts of kitchen space and supplies (great cook your own meals house), barbecue, and a lovely treat from the owners...Great for local wine tasting with a group.”
“My wife and I stayed with three other couples at the VX Farmhouse on October 21 - 22, 2011. About once a year we eight spend a weekend together at some destination to relax, visit, enjoy good food and explore the local sights. This was our first trip to the Willamette Valley Wine Country, and we all agreed that the experience was enhanced by the accomodations and setting of the Farmhouse. The house was spacious, very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. A fantastic bonus was the VX Winery on the property and beautiful vineyards and hazelnut (filbert) orchards for long walks. Grapes were still on the vines ready for harvesting, and the autumn leaves had brilliant colors. We visited other notable wineries in the area, but considered VX Winery to be one of our favorites. Becca was there to welcome us and made our stay outstanding. We highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a romantic, relaxing getaway.”
